Small Group Networking through the Chamber's "Plates for 8" program has become one of the most popular avenues for members to network and gain exposure for their businesses.
A Plates for 8 event provides a chance for 8-12 Chamber Members to join for a meal and learn more about each other’s businesses. A Chamber representative hosts and facilitates the event at a local restaurant in order to provide an in depth networking opportunity for a small group of members.

CalChamber Backs Computer Science Bills to Benefit Future California Economy

Studying computer science prepares students for careers in a large variety of sectors, not just information technology (IT), teaching them valuable computational and critical thinking skills, and how to create, not just use, new technologies. Maximize Your Community Involvement Through the Chamber
We have heard from many of our members that their Chamber membership is a great way to be involved in the Community. Chamber committees provide an avenue for you to be involved in shaping the direction of the Chamber. You can also choose areas that are important to you such as outreach to the military and education communities.
Join us for a complimentary breakfast on Wednesday, April 30th at 7:30am and learn how you can leverage your Chamber membership for better community participation. All attendees will have a chance to introduce themselves, and we’ll end the session with a brief time of networking.

Exhibit Space Still Available for Oceanside's Premier Networking Event
On Wednesday, April 16, 2014, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce will hold the Oceanside Business Expo/Hispanic Business Showcase, Oceanside's Ultimate Networking Event. The event will be held at the QLN Conference Center in Oceanside and provides a great opportunity for local business owners to connect with business owners from around the region and build business relationships and strategic partnerships.
Tabletop exhibit spaces are available at $250 for Oceanside Chamber members and $350 for non-members.
