Chamber’s Annual Directory and Community Guide Promotes Business and Quality of Life in Oceanside
The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce has begun production of its 2015 Business Directory and Community Guide which will be published next February.

Each year, the Chamber publishes the directory as a way of promoting the local business community and the great quality of life offered in Oceanside. The publication includes sections that outline local attractions, health care providers, education resources, economic development, arts & culture and more.

All Chamber members receive a free listing in the guide and have access to additional advertising opportunities. With 15,000 copies to be printed, this guide will offer a great way to reach the military, business and residential markets in and around Oceanside.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside Hosts "Day for Kids" This Saturday
Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside is gearing up to celebrate their first annual Day for Kids event to highlight the critical needs of children in the community. This event is just one of hundreds of Day for Kids events planned nationwide. Chamber to Honor Local Educators
On November 5, 2014, the Oceanside Chamber will hold its 6th Annual Excellence in Education Awards Dinner & Auction. The Chamber will honor and recognize “Outstanding Employee of the Year”, “Administrator of the Year”, and “Teacher of the Year.”

The Event will feature a terrific dinner, no-host bar and a silent auction. A portion of the event proceeds will be used to provide scholarships to local students and classroom grants for school projects.

Chamber and BACPAC to Hold Candidate Forums This Thursday
Your BACPAC (Business and Community Political Action Committee) is currently holding its candidate forums for the fall elections. Last week, forums were held for the Oceanside Unified School District and the Oceanside City Council.

Be sure to join us in-person at MiraCosta College on September 18th at 5:00 pm for the MiraCosta Board of Trustees forum and at 6:30 pm for the forum with the candidates for the Tri City Healthcare Districts. Refreshments will be served before each forum. Read More.
