Hi ...
You've been hearing a lot about today's Buyer 2.0 from me lately! Hope you're not overwhelmed, but it's important for you, as a business person, to know how to be found by your Buyer 2.0 audience when you need to be found.
Again, the Buyer 2.0 does all their purchasing research on their own. Therefore you need to be implementing ways in which you are available to be connected with upon the very 1st stages of your buyer's need.
How do you do this? Well let's say your buyers get a sign that they need to de-stress! That's all they know ... they haven't had time to think about it further. If you have shared some social media sites with them and have had some postings that just relate to calmness, quiet, serenity, etc you stand a chance of having an early on connection.
What happens next depends upon the severity of their need. Continuing with this same example, if the severity of their need to de-stress came from the workplace, you would stay connected by merely having posted on these same social networks some posts that related to workplace stress. Maybe some statistics,, stories of stress, etc. Something that shows you understand that environment and the stress that can develop. You have given the person in need reason to continue to explore you as they find out more about their need and what would fix it.
Notice... so far you haven't mentioned your product nor services?
Next the person in need is ready to explore an actual solution. There are medications they could use. Exercise could be a solution. A vacation might be what is needed. Or maybe they just quit the job! If the soluiton is "their" choice, the more connected you have become before this stage the better you odds that they will begin to explore you products and services. They have some trust in you and are open to what you have.
Assuming you stay connected with the type of solution for de-stressing your buyer chooses, the rest of the journey is having them learn the results other people have received from you. How it's implemented, used, if training is involved, cost, and if all the details are a match and better than the competition! Don't forget about your competition because your buyer will be researching them as well.
